Jamshedpur: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized Diwali Milan programme at Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur, on Wednesday evening.
The chief guest of the occasion was the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar. He inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp jointly with SCCI president Vijay Anand Moonka and other dignitaries.
In his address, the SSP praised the Chamber for its various activities. He said the Chamber played a vital role in organizing socially beneficial and cultural events. He said he felt like a family member with the Chamber members. He asked the traders to work fearlessly and assured of all possible assistance from the police department.
Moonka welcomed all guests and wished them a prosperous time ahead. He said the Chamber organized such events to ensure unity and harmony in the society.
The programme was conducted by vice president Mukesh Mittal.
