Jamshedpur: Jumping out of lift, man falls to death from fourth floor

Jamshedpur: One Shishir Sinha alias Bablu Srivastava died after falling from the fourth floor of a building at Dimna Road on Tuesday. The tragedy occurred when he was taking a lift to the fifth floor of Neelkanth Apartment to meet his friend around noon. Just then the power went off and the lift stopped at the fourth floor.

After some wait, Sinha called his friend who opened the lift door to facilitate his exit from the lift. While doing so, Sinha tried to jump to the fourth floor, but lost his balance and fell down to the ground floor, sustaining critical injuries. He was taken to Tata Main Hospital and Brahmananda Hospital but could not be admitted due to lack of beds. He died on his way to RIMS, Ranchi. The entire incident was recorded in a CCTV camera, sources said.
