Ranchi, Dec. 19: �Hasth Shilpi� a 5-day Silk India exhibition in Ranchi is receiving good response from Ranchites.
The exhibition which was opened on Thursday, December 17 will continue till December 21. The exhibition aims to keep the weaving art of India alive where artists from all over the country including Kolkata, Assam, Bihar, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir etc have displayed more than 200 varieties of silk at the exhibition.
Also exhibited is Pashmina from Kashmir. T Abhinandan of Hasth Shilpi said, we are providing platform to the weavers from India to showcase their art and talent.
The exhibition is being held at Hotel Radisson Blue from 17 to 21 December where more than 100 stalls have been put up.
At the exhibition silk from Pakistan and Bangladesh is also up for sale. The expo will remain open from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm.
