Jamshedpur, Dec. 20
: Steel city is missing the screening of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-starrer Bajirao Mastani as no theatre in Jamshedpur is screening the film due to license issue.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh fans in Jamshedpur were teleurgesteld over no show of Bajirao Mastani in the steel city. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani released simultaneously all over India on Friday, December 18, but the viewers faced disappointment as they couldnt watch the movie despite booking the tickets in advance.

The hair and moustache style Ranveer Singh in the movie became famous among youths once the trailer of Bajirao Mastani released. Soon people booked their tickets in advance but faced disappointment as no show was screened in the city theaters.

Dinesh Singh, manger of Eylex Fun and Films, says several people came to the theatre to watch Bajirao Mastani but the film is not been screened.

We couldnt get the license of the film Bajirao Mastani this is the main reason behind not screening, Dinesh added. Payal Cinema in Mango is also not screening the movie and is running 5 shows of Dilwale.

Anand Kumar Gupta, a movie buff and a fan of Ranveer Singh, says, though several shows of Bajirao Matani were cancelled by anti-social elements in several cities of the country, I was looking forward to watch the first day first show as Ranveer has up its style statement in the movie and with the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali I was expecting a blockbuster, but now Im downcast as no show has been put in city theatres, added Anand.

Significantly, several artists of the film have a connection with Jamshedpur. Lead actress in the movie, Priyanka Chopra was born in our city. Budding actors of Jamshedpur Ajeet and Ujjwal have played a role in the movie.

Ajit said, his family members and friends had planned to watch Bajirao Mastani together but they are extremely disappointed as there will be no screening of the film.
