Jamshedpur, June 19: The Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) launched its ambitious education project, ‘Sikh Wisdom,’ during a grand inauguration ceremony held at the Ramgarhia Sabha in Sakchi on Sunday. The event saw the presence of Sub-Divisional Officer Piyush Sinha, who shared his success story with the aspiring scholars as the chief guest.
Addressing the students and their families, Sinha emphasized the importance of creating a study schedule and preparing diligently, stating that success is guaranteed through such dedication. He described hard work as the key to success and advised the students to steer clear of drugs and intoxicants. Mr. Sinha further highlighted that education is a fundamental right for all citizens, and a well-educated society plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nation.
Sardar Bhagwan Singh, President of CGPC and Founder of Sikh Wisdom, graced the event as the Guest of Honor. He expressed his hopes that the education wing of CGPC, in collaboration with educationists from Manpreet Bhatia Classes and Master Minds, would provide significant benefits through the ‘Shiksha Ka Langar’ initiative.
‘Sikh Wisdom’ aims to establish a platform dedicated to nurturing future scholars. Educationists Manpreet Singh Bhatia and Mandeep Singh Bhatia elaborated on the enrollment process, which has already commenced for students across all three streams of class 11th and 12th. A coaching center has been set up in the Modern School run by Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib, where classes will be conducted. In the initial phase, over 100 students have registered, and the program welcomes Sikh students from diverse backgrounds, offering them free education. In a significant step towards providing equitable educational opportunities, it has been decided to offer free coaching to Sikh children, akin to private coaching centers. Manpreet Singh Bhatia stated that initially, coaching would be available for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams of ICSE and CBSE for classes 11th and 12th.
