Jamshedpur: The 71st monthly Shyam Keertan Mahotsav of Sri Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust, Jamshedpur, was celebrated with fervour at Baikunth Dham temple in Jugsalai on Saturday. The celebration began with Ganesh Vandana and ended with a bhajan programme. Devotees BK Sharma and his wife sat for puja performed by priest Ramjee Parikh.
Local bhajan singers Anees Garodia, Bunty Changil, Lala Joshi, Neeraj Jalan, Sanjay Parikh and Puja Pasari sang a number of melodious bhajans. A group of artists also performed dance on the bhajans.
The main attractions of the day were the grand darbar of Shyam Baba, Chhappan Bhog, Akhand Jyot and Shyam Rasoi prasad. Hundreds of devotees received the prasad.
Among those who attended the event included Rajesh Pasari, Gagan Rustogi, Uttam Naredi, Murari Agrawal, Manoj Palsania, Shyam Choudhary, Jagdish Dhut, Sandeep Bajaj, Sanjay Agrawal and Jugal Purohit.
