Jamshedpur: The 62nd monthly Shyam Mahotsava of Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust, Jamshedpur, was celebrated at Kasidih Kali Mandir with great fervor on Friday.
The ceremony was sponsored by Shilpi and Manoj Palsaniya. A large number of devotees participated in the event. The worship of Lord Shyam started at 8 pm.
Chandrakanta and Prahalad Palsaniya performed the worship and Acharya Ramji Parikh led the devotees thereafter and tied raksha sutra on their wrists.
The bhajan evening started with Sri Ganesh Vandana. It continued till late night. A group of local artists performed on the occasion.
They included Mahabir Agrawal, Neeraj Jalan, Pawan Sharda and Anis Galodiya. The chief attraction of the event was Shyam Baba�s durbar and Shyam Rasoi Prasad. Hundreds of devotees received the Prasad.
