Jamshedpur, July 28: Shubhenjit Chaudhuri has taken over as Managing Director of Tata Pigments Limited from 29th July.
He succeeds Prakash Sarode who has been the MD of the Company since May 2007.
Chaudhuri is an Electronics Engineer from BIT Mesra and has done his PG Diploma in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.
He has worked in Tata Steel since 1990, mostly in the export function, including a five year stint in Shanghai, China.
His immediate past two assignments were as the Chief Marketing & Sales of Tata Steel Wires Division and the Chief Corporate Sustainability.
