Shubhadarshi, Deepa win Jamshedpur Media Golf Putting Championship

Championship to be held annually: Chanakya Chaudhary

Jamshedpur, Dec 26: Shubhadarshi alias Bunty of SCCN News won the Media Golf Putting Championship organised by Tata Steel and Press Club of Jamshedpur at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday.

There was a close fight for the second place but Amjad Khan defeated Nanak Singh in tie-breaker to bag the runner-up title. Deepa won the title in the women’s category.

In the senior journalists category Rangadhar Nanda won the trophy. 

On this occasion, Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel was present as the chief guest and awarded the winners.

He expressed happiness about the huge participation and said that the event must be organised every year during the month of December.

Farzan Heerjee, Chief Protocol and Sports, Tata Steel, Runa Rajeev Kumar, Head, Corporate Communication, Tata Steel, Mukul Choudhari, CEO, Jamshedpur FC, Amit Gupta from Adfactors PR, Hassan Imam and Vibhuti Adeshra from Tata Steel Sports Department were present along with senior journalists including Radheshyam Agarwal, Editor of Udit Vani,
