�Shravani Mela� Express between Tatanagar and Jasidih from July 27

Jamshedpur, July 10: With a view to clear extra rush of passengers during Shravani Mela, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Special trains between Tatanagar-Jasidih-Tatanagar during the period from 27.7.18 to 26.8.18.

08183 Tatanagar-Jasidih Special leaving Tatanagar at 23.45 hrs (Except Tuesday & Friday) will reach Jasidih at 07.20 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08184 Jasidih-Tatanagar Special leaving Jasidih at 11.10 hrs (Except Wednesday & Saturday) will arrive Tatanagar at 17.30 hrs, the same day. However the special will also run on 27.7.18 (Friday) from Tatanagar and on 28.7.18 (Saturday) from Jasidih.

The trains will have all unreserved coaches with stoppages at Adityapur, Kandra, Chandil, Barabhum, Purulia, Anara, Joychandipahar, Burnpur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Vidyasagar and Madhupur

�Considering the rush of the passengers the decision was taken to  introduce the train for clearing the rush of devotees heading for Deoghar,� said a  spokesperson of South Eastern Railway.

All the trains going via Jasidih station witnesses full of devotees during the holy month of Shravan. The rush is so huge that the “kanwariyas” force their way into reserved coaches too.

The railways also decided that that all mail and express trains passing through Chakradharpur would from Sunday halt at Mahadevshal,  a religious place at Goelkera block in West Singhbhum. The station falls in the Howrah-Mumbai main line. The arrangement will continue for a month.

Trains usually do not halt at the station. But, because of the heavy rush of devotees to this place during the holy month of Shravan, the railways provide a halt for all the mail and express trains.
