Jamshedpur, Nov 22: The 12th two-day short film festival 2019 will be organized at Centre For Excellence on 23th and 24th November under the aegis of Take5 Communication, Kolkata.
Tathagata Bhattacherjee, Chief, Take5 Communications. Addressing a press meet at Centre For Excellence on Friday, Senior Manager CC and CFE Merlyn F Anklesaria, Tathagata Bhattacherjee along with actor and journalist Goutam Shankar Das, laid out the features of the 12th episode of Shorts.
There are 21 short films that would be screened during the two day event. The films are in English, Hindi and Bengali and also include few silent movies. Their span range from two minutes to 30 minutes. Out of these films, 17 are fiction while four of them are documentary. The much-awaited event will be inaugurated at 5 pm on 23rd November. Most of the films going to be screened have won international and national acclaim. They informed that Jamshedpur based Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) and Kolkata based Take5 Communications have been jointly organising the festival since 2008.
