Jamshedpur: A delegation of shop owners and vendors of Tatanagar Station Chowk met the DC and SDO of East Singhbhum on Saturday to demand measurement of land along the Station-Baroda Ghat main road before starting its construction.
The shop owners demanded that the measurement of land adjoining the said road should be carried out in the presence of the DC so that no shop owner suffers from injustice caused by demolition order to remove encroachment.
The MLA of Potka Menka Sardar and Zila Parishad members Kishore Yadav and Sudipto Dey were also present on the occasion.
They supported the demand of local shop owners and said that the administration should not remove encroachment without carrying out land measurement.
