Jamshedpur, Aug. 6: Coty’s religious organisation Sri Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust and Dance Studio jointly organised Sawan Mahotsav on the occasion of holy month of Sawan.
Competition for Sawan Queen along with Sindhara and Hariyali Teej programme was also held. Ladies form the Marwari community dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire were seen dabcing to the folk songs
Telco resident Shilpi Palsania was crowned the Sawan Queen while Suman Bhartiya won the Lucky Coupon draw contest.
At the dance contest Mamta Gadoria won the first prize followed by Puja Agarwal and Shilpi Palsania.
The event held at a city hotel on Sunday saw various events including dancing, singing along with various games.
Along with the dance and songs the ladies enjoyed various delicacies. The events were organised by Puja Agarwal of Dance Studio
.The judge for the occasion was Puja Singh were all the participating ladies were also awarded.
Various Rajasthani songs were played at the event. The main attraction was the Selfie Zone, dance and tattoo competition.
On the occasion ladies said, to help maintain the connect of the young generation with our culture these types of programmes should be held on a regular basis.
