Jamshedpur, August 10: Shiksha Niketan, located in Telco, held an award ceremony on Aug 9 to recognize students who excelled in their 10th and 12th board examinations. The event took place on the school premises and was graced by chief guest Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Head of Medical Service at Tata Motors Hospital, along with members of the school management committee.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome address from the school’s Principal, Sumita Dey. Students entertained the gathering with a colourful cultural program showcasing weather scenes from various states of India.
Dr. Kumar presented awards to the meritorious students, with special recognition given to Hina Firdaus, a 10th-grade student who emerged as the city topper this year. The ceremony not only celebrated academic excellence but also highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing talent.
Vice-Principal Rajni Pandey and other teachers were present to support and congratulate the students on their achievements. The event served as a platform to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of both students and educators, reinforcing the importance of academic success in shaping future leaders.
