Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Members of self help groups of Jugsalai Nagar Parishad were informed about Swachh Technology Challenge under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 on Friday following the instructions of the Dhalbhum sub divisional officer (SDO) Piyush Sinha. The officials said both individuals as well as organizations may participate in the competition.
The competitive events would be based on social inclusion, zero dumping, plastic waste management and transparency. The first three winners would get Rs 2.5, Rs 1.5 and Rs 1 lakh respectively. The entries would be adjudged on the basis of nine criteria that include innovation, improvement in working capacity, Reduce Reuse Recycle principle, novelty, low cost , low maintenance, user friendly and time and effort saving and employment generation, sources said.
