Jamshedpur, Oct 18: Durga Puja was celebrated in Sheyn International School on Wednesday.
The celebration venue had been meticulously adorned, setting the stage for a joyous, cultural spectacle.
The festivities commenced with the soul-stirring performance of “Mahalaya,” a dance presentation dedicated to Nava Durga. This mesmerizing opening act captured the essence of Durga Puja, leaving the audience spellbound. A chorus of sloka recitation and insightful speeches by the senior section students followed, enlightening the gathering about the significance of the occasion.
The academic spirit also thrived with a lively quiz on Durga Puja and the forthcoming Dussehra festival, as students eagerly showcased their knowledge and enthusiasm.
The Dhunuchi Dance performed by the teachers stole the spotlight at the event. The students erupted with exuberance, infusing vibrant energy into the festivities as they witnessed the teachers’ elegant dance performance.
Rama Srinivas, Principal (Academics), along with Pushpa Bhalla, Principal (Administration), Keya Adak, Vice Principal, and Simran Saggu, Headmistress, graced the event with their presence.
