Jamshedpur, Sept. 12: Grandparents the keepers of traditions, blessings from God which are irreplaceable, the founders of a loving legacy are a family’s greatest treasure. They are the family’s strong foundations and their bedtimes stories are an integral part of a child’s growing years.
To nurture the young hungry minds, Sheyn International School has always been in the forefront initiating collaborative projects in a fun filled colourful environment that activates and enlivens the creativity of the children. Notwithstanding the lockdown and the closure of the schools the teachers and the students of Sheyn International joined together online to celebrate the “Grandparents Day” thus making the day memorable and special for the grandparents.
Children designed beautiful cards wishing their grandparents great health, cheer and happiness. Video recording of the celebrations at home were done by the students and sent to their teachers and the enthusiasm of the children and grandparents participating in the celebration evoked an atmosphere of joy and happiness even in such trying times. Beautiful poems and one-liners on their grandparents stole the hearts of everybody which could be seen on their smiling faces as the grandparents posed for photographs with their tiny toddlers. The pandemic could not diminish their spirit of celebration. It was a special day celebrated in a special way.
