Sheyn International School celebrates excellence at Annual Prize Night

Jamshedpur, Feb 6: Sheyn International School hosted its prestigious Annual Prize Night at the XLRI auditorium, honouring academic and extracurricular excellence for the session 2023-24. The event recognized high achievers from the Std X and XII Board examinations, along with school toppers across grades.

The evening began with the national anthem, the soulful school song and a spirited band performance. Pushpa Bhalla, Principal (Administration), warmly welcomed the dignitaries, including Chief Guest Colonel Manas Kundu, Commander of the 220 Field Regiment. Other esteemed guests included Brigade (Retd) Ran Vijay Singh, Avinash Singh, Chairman of Sheyn International School and Jyoti Singh, Pro-Vice Chairman.

Congratulating the board toppers, Avinash Singh praised the relentless efforts of students and teachers. “Excellence is a journey and tonight, we celebrate those who have set the benchmark for future generations,” he said.

Rama Srinivas, Principal (Academics), highlighted the school’s academic achievements in her keynote address. Students with outstanding attendance, sports achievers at state and zonal levels and rank holders were felicitated.

A cultural program added vibrancy to the evening, with captivating performances on themes like Adi Yogi, the valour of Indian soldiers and environmental conservation.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Headmistress Simran Saggu, leaving the audience inspired by the spirit of achievement and dedication.
