Shekhar Dey pays tribute to Netaji

Jamshedpur, Oct 21: Indian National Army (INA) (Azad Hind Fauj) Day at The Milanee in Bistupur was a low key affair amid Covid restrictions on Wednesday, October 21. Maintaining over two decade old tradition, Subhas Sanskriti Parishad, Jamshedpur Chapter, celebrated the occasion in the club premises at Bistupur in presence of few members. Sreeleathers proprietor and philanthropist Shekhar Dey paid homage to Netaji and garlanded his statue at The Milanee.

 In 1943, on October 21, one of India�s greatest sons � Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose announced the formation of the �Arzi Hukumat-e-Azad Hind� or the provincial government of free India in Singapore and declared war on the British Empire.
