Jamshedpur, Dec. 20: Shared Services beat RMD by 17 points to 8 to win the Executive basketball tournament. Sports department of Tata Steel conducted the executive basketball championship on 20th December 2016 at Basketball Court, JRD Tata Sports Complex.
This was the fifth event of Executive Championship of 2016 – 2017 season. Total of 40 Executives participated in tournament. Out of 9 units, 4 units had participated in it. They were Shared Services, RMD, Iron Making and TSK, Kalinganagar
Chief Guest Manmohan Singh, Sr. Manager (SNTI), Tata Steel distributed the prizes to the winners along with Binod Kumar Singh, FIFA Referee.
Rakesh Mahato, Rohit kr Yadav, Subham Kumar, Ravi Prasad and Suraj Bhan were the officials and conducted the entire matches of the championships. Avinash Kumar conducted the entire championship with the support of Firoze Khan, Punam Kumari, Renu Bhaduriya, Arun Sinha and Ravi Barua & his staff team.
