Jamshedpur, May 23: A trader reportedly duped several people in Mango and robbed them of their hard-earned money by assuring them of high returns through share trading. He has embezzled investments between Rs 18 crore to Rs 40 crore before fleeing the city, sources said.
The victims of the scam reached Mango police station on Monday and submitted a written complaint. The officer-in-charge, Vinay Kumar, assured them of conducting a thorough probe into the matter, sources said.
