Several proposals to be passed in Hemant Cabinet meeting today

Ranchi: An important Cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled for today. This meeting will be held in the project building from 2.00 pm onwards. Decisions on many important proposals are likely to be taken in this meeting, including service condition manual of nurses, construction of new police stations and TOP in the state.

The government may pass regulations on the service of nurses. Under this rule, now the nurses working in private hospitals and nursing homes of Jharkhand will have to be paid a salary of at least Rs 20,000. Under no circumstances can a salary be given less than this. At the same time, the salary and allowances of nurses in private hospitals with 200 beds will be equal to that of nurses working in government hospitals. The salary and allowances of nurses of private hospitals with more than 100 beds will be only 10 percent less than that of government hospitals. Strict action will be taken against hospitals and nursing homes if the order is not followed. The license can also be cancelled.

Nurses will not be required to work for more than 8 hours. Extra leave will have to be given if more work is taken.
A proposal may come in today’s Cabinet regarding opening of new police stations and TOP. Under this, new police stations and OPs will be created in the state. There is a proposal to establish these police stations and create posts. There is a proposal to set up two new traffic police stations. There is also a proposal to set up a cyber police station. Decisions will be taken regarding upgrading the outpost as a police station. The proposal regarding re-determination of the work area of the state police station and OP can also be approved.
One proposal is regarding eco retreat. This eco retreat is going to take place in Netarhat. In this regard, FICCI will be made the industry partner for the Eco Retreat to be held in December. A proposal related to this has been sent to the cabinet.

Chief Minister Panchayat Incentive Award Scheme can be approved in today’s Cabinet meeting. According to the information, in today’s meeting, Rs 48 lakh will be given to the cooperative institutions formed in every district of the state, Sido-Kanhu Agriculture and Forest Produce District Cooperative Union, to provide Rs 2 crore as share capital. In the light of the instructions of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Jharkhand Employees’ State Insurance Committee can be constituted and a Governing Body and Executive Committee can be constituted for the operation of the Committee.

Assistant branch officers will get promotion
The proposal to give promotion to assistant branch officers is also expected to be approved in today’s meeting. The High Court has given orders regarding their promotion. In order to comply with this, this will be done under Jharkhand Secretariat Service. In this regard, a recommendation has also been made by the Departmental Promotion Committee on July 19. Administrative approval can be given for the second revised estimate amounting to Rs 36.93 crore for the cold storage under construction with a capacity of 5000 metric tons in Deoghar, Giridih, Ranchi and Gumla. A decision can also be taken to extend the period of this scheme.
