DAV Bistupur felicitates meritorious students

Jamshedpur, July 8: DAV Public School, Bistupur organised the annual award ceremony ‘The Super Achievers’ on Saturday evening at the Fasy Auditorium. The batch of 2017-18, specially the toppers who scored 90 % and above in AISSCE, 87 AISSCE toppers, 24 subject toppers, 36 JEE Advanced, 110 JEE Mains, 35 NEET qualifiers were felicitated for their outstanding performance, sincerity, dedication and hard work.

Earlier, the function was inaugurated by Jamshedpur SSP Anup Birthare in presence of Uttam Singh, vice president, Iron making, Tata Steel, OP Mishra, principal, DAV NIT, DAV Bistupur principal Pragya Singh and others.

Pragya Singh in her welcome address congratulated the achievers for their remarkable accomplishments as well as presented the annual report for the session 2017-18. The school magazine ‘Unnayan’, a forum for the writers of tomorrow was released by the chief guest.

The welcome dance ‘Sangachhadwam’ depicted the liberation and growth of righteousness in human being by manifesting the glory of almighty.

In his convocation address the chief guest urged the students to set standards and goals for themselves and strive to achieve them-be it in the area of academics, sports, discipline, leadership and more. he also appreciated the DAV institution for their excellence not only in academics nut also in co-curicullar events.
