Jamshedpur, May 15: Andhra Association English School (AAES) had organized Summer Camp from 8th May to 14th May, 2017.
130 students participated in this fun filled activities/ games where they learnt and enjoyed Yoga, Football, Lagori, Athletics, and Koko etc. Many children chose to take part in two or more than two activities.
For marking the culmination of the camp, a closing ceremony was organized in the school auditorium. Dr. Nafis Akhtar Khan, vice president, Jharkhand State Cricket Association was the Chief Guest. In his speech Dr. Khan emphasized that in these formative years in a child�s life, it is very important to explore and hone their talents.
Also present at the closing ceremony were President, General Secretary, Vice President (English and Hindi School), other executive members of Andhra Association Managing Committee, Sports persons from members wing, Principal, Teachers and participating students.
The Vice President of English School also focused on the need of such activities for the growth of the children. Simultaneously students were asked to respect their mothers and get blessing on this auspicious Mother�s Day.
Few participating students shared their views about summer camp and thanked the management, principal and games teachers for organizing the Summer Camp for the very first time in the school.
The students were rewarded with certificates for participating in the summer camp. The ceremony was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Principal of Andhra Association English School.
