Jamshedpur, May 30: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur hosted the Multi District ISO Meet ‘Kairavi’ on the Saturday. The program was conducted by event chairman PDC Aruna Taneja and District ISO Alakananda Bakshi.
Dr. Sheela Ranjan, District Chairman, District 325, Executive members of IWD 325 were also present.
Association President Vasudhaa Chandrachud graced the occasion as chief guest. Padma Shri mountaineer Premlata Agarwal was the guest speaker for the program. She spoke on the topic “I’M Possible”.
The dignitaries were felicitated & honoured by IWC Jamshedpur through -donation of desktop computer and ceiling fan to Jaskandih Village library, donation of Hands Free Sanitising Machine to Narbheram Hansraj School,
donation of Milk expenses for one month to Sahyog Village (adoption agency), donation of 50 umbrella’s with Inner Wheel Logo to Jagriti Inner Wheel School and School of Hope, Vegetable expenses for one month to Adarsh Sewa Sansthan, donation of 11 Smart Sensor sticks for the Blind to National Association of Blind, donation of 30 T Shirts with Inner Wheel Logo for the children of Jagriti Inner Wheel School, donation of 50 drawing copies and seed pens for the children of Jagriti and Jaskandih Village and donation of one month’s ration for last rites and financial aid for a needy family whose bread earner succumbed to Covid 19.
Events held during the day were Petrichor – The fragrance of Indian Folk music in Bollywood, Ramp walk competition by DISOs based on folk theme, Release of link for “Flavours of Bihar & Jharkhand”, Folk dance competition by club ISOs, release of link on “Karigari” (a short tour on traditional Art and Craft of Bihar and Jharkhand”, release of District Newsletter, release of “My Stamp” by host club, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur to commemorate successful completion of 25 years, invitation for 37th District Assembly by IWC Muzaffarpur & C.O.T.I by IWC Pushpanjali.
Formal vote of thanks was presented by Vice Chairman Poonam Thakur followed by President Navita Prasad. 401 members attended the program. The program also went live on you tube.
