Jamshedpur, April 20: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) successfully concluded the fire service week on April 20. The week was organised as per the guidelines of the Fire Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, highlighting the role of fire services in protecting life and property.
The week-long campaign included various activities, such as fire safety mock drills, fire safety training sessions, evacuation drills, a quiz competition, a fire safety audit, and showcasing fire safety videos, among others. The employees were trained to handle fire-related emergencies effectively and to follow the established protocols.

The campaign was aimed at raising awareness about fire safety measures and how to use them effectively in emergency situations. Coordination protocols among various services, such as fire and ambulance were also checked.
Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, addressed the employees and reiterated the importance of following safety policies and procedures. He expressed his gratitude towards the employees for actively participating in the Fire Service Week and making it a grand success.
The enthusiasm and energy displayed by the employees during the campaign were commendable.
