Series of activities mark 77th Chartered Accountants Day in Jamshedpur 

Jamshedpur, June 30: The Jamshedpur Branch of the Central India Regional Council (CIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 77th Chartered Accountants Day with a series of welfare and awareness programmes.

Branch President CA Kaushalendra Das informed that the day began with walkathon at Jubilee Park where over 30 members participated enthusiastically. The event aimed to promote physical well-being and foster camaraderie among members.

Commemorating Jharkhand Hul Kranti Diwas, a tree plantation drive was organized at the Lupungdih Primary School. Under the leadership of CA Kaushalendra Das, more than 100 saplings were planted by members in the rural locality, showcasing the branch’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

In the evening, a special programme titled “Arthshakti” was conducted for the housewives of CA members. The session covered essential topics such as budget management, savings, investments, and protection against digital fraud. Key speakers included CA Vishakha Agarwal, CA Lakshmi, and CA Jagjit Kaur. The programme saw active participation from over 25 women.

CA Rishi Arora delivered the vote of thanks. The success of the day-long events was supported by the dedicated efforts of CA Anand Agarwal, CA Chetan Agarwal, CA Yogesh Sharma, and CA Mukund Kedia.
