Seraikela, Dec 4: Vani Priyamvada, a daughter of Seraikela, has made her mark by becoming a civil judge in her first attempt, passing the examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). She was selected for the post of Civil Judge in the 32nd Judicial Service Examination held by BPSC.
Vani’s educational journey began in Seraikela, where she attended Bal Madhya Vidyalaya for her primary schooling. She then moved to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Sijulata for her secondary education, where she excelled with a 9 CGA in the 10th grade and 85 percent in the 12th grade. She pursued her BA LLB in Bangalore, where she was honored with the Best Law Student Award. Continuing her academic pursuits, Vani completed her LLM from Delhi University’s Faculty of Law, where she was the topper of her batch. During her LLM, she also cleared the UGC NET examination.
Her academic excellence led her to be selected for a PhD in Law by both Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University, and she chose to pursue her PhD at Delhi University. During her PhD, she appeared for the Civil Judge examination and succeeded in her first attempt.
Vani credits her success to the support of her parents, especially her mother, who introduced her to the importance of education. She also acknowledged the guidance of her father, Murari Prasad Singh, a retired teacher from Nripraj Government +2 High School in Seraikela, who played a crucial role in her academic journey. Vani emphasized that her family’s love, trust, and support were her greatest strengths.
Reflecting on her success, Vani believes that with dedication and hard work, success is inevitable.
