Seraikela, June 18: Seraikela-Kharsawan Superintendent of Police Anand Prakash directed the officers in-charge of all police stations in the district to conduct anti-crime checking in their respective areas and tighten noose around various gangs.
The SP reviewed the law and order situation across the district and sought information regarding pending cases, fresh complaints, pending investigation, non-bailable warrants and notices. He directed the officials to ensure timely compliance with court orders and service of notices on accused of various cases.
The SP further advised the police officials to cultivate better relations with the public. He gave tips on friendly policing to the officers and asked them to behave well with those coming to police stations with complaints. He also ordered stern action against those involved in illegal sand mining and illicit liquor trade.
