Seraikela, April 12. Superintendent of Police Seraikela Kharsawan Anand Prakash, who returned from one month’s departmental training, held a crime meeting with all the station in-charges and senior police officers of the district on Wednesday.
The SP discussed with all the station in-charges regarding the incidents taking place in their area and gave necessary instructions.
Regarding crime control in the meeting, the SP gave strict instructions to all police station in-charges and senior police officers to reduce crime. The SP also directed to intensify night patrolling and speedy execution of cases. The SP said that the police station will be run only from those who do good work. All officers and policemen should be alert from now on. Action is fixed on receipt of complaint.
He also asked for strong action against selling illegal liquor in any police station area.
He also reviewed cases, complaints, pending investigation, non-bailable warrants, service of notices etc.
Addressing all the police station in-charges during the crime meeting, the SP said that people who reach the police station should be treated with courtesy. The SP said that on receiving information about illegal sand mining and sale of liquor in any police station area, the police station incharges will be taken to task.
He asked all the station in-charges to stop poppy cultivation, sand mining and liquor smuggling under any circumstances. Arrest the absconding criminals and send them to jail. The SP said that all the police station in-charges will themselves do night patrolling in their respective police station areas and arrest illegal liquor traders.
