Seraikela: The people of Seraikela municipal area, especially those living from ward number 1 to 10 are facing tough times these days.
Garbage problem coupled with drinking water crisis and absence of civic amenities has led the residents to lead life with difficulty. Local residents allege that the administrative authorities concerned are not taking interest in solving their problems.
As a result of the apathetic attitude of the authorities, the roads are full of muck and filth and drains are hardly clean. Due to clogging of drains, the dirty water keeps overflowing on the main road at many places. This also threatens the breakout of an epidemic anytime, said a local resident.
The residents are also finding it difficult to ply their vehicles on the road from Kumhar Toli to Babu Tola. They alleged that the municipal authorities concerned are not taking any interest in their problems.
