Seraikela: Seraikela police here on Thursday launched a road safety awareness drive at SDO Office Chowk. Led by ASI Ranjeet Prasad, cops informed motorcyclists about the benefits of wearing helmet. As many as 50 motorcycles were confiscated by police during the two hour long campaign.
The motorcyclists were later fined and warned against violating road safety rules. Cops said the SP Chandan Kumar Sinha had directed the traffic police to intensify action against violators of traffic rules.
