Seraikela-Kharsawan administration chalks out anti-Maoist strategy

Seraikela, Aug 20: Seraikela-Kharsawan deputy commissioner Anjanayelu Dodde chaired a meeting of Unified Command on Left-wing extremism and ways to counter it at his office on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by the Seraikela-Kharsawan SP Karthik S, Commandant of CRPF 196 Battalion, Dugni,  Commandant of CRPF Battalion 157, Adityapur, Commandant of CRPF Battalion 193, Mosabani, DDC, Project Director and ADC Seraikela-Kharsawan.

During the meeting, it was unanimously decided to establish coordination among various departments and chalk out operation plan for better implementation of anti-Maoist operations. It was also decided to install mobile towers in the remove interior parts of the district to ensure better communication network.

The DC said the district administration would spread awareness among the masses on the surrender policy of the state government for the Maoists. He said the kutcha roads in the Maoist-hit villages would be converted into pucca roads.
