Seraikela, May 30: 1,818 out of 1,960 candidates on Tuesday appeared for the entrance examination for selection to the Three CM Schools for Excellence. The examinations were conducted in the three schools designated for the selection of the successful candidates.
District Education Officer (DEO) Jitendra Kumar Sinha informed that the examinations at the three centres were held peacefully and no cases of malpractice were reported. The DEO informed that the admission tests at Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singhdev CM School of Excellence tests were conducted for admission to classes VI, VII, VIII and IX in state-supported Girls’ High School Seraikela. 506 candidates out of 541 appeared in the entrance examination.
At the Nripraj Government + 2 CM School of Excellence High School out of 1150 candidates, 1060 candidates appeared in the entrance examination for admission to classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and XI. At the CM School of Excellence Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Residential School Saraikela, 252 out of 269 candidates appeared in the entrance examination for admission to class VI.
