Seraikela DC holds virtual Revenue and Resource review meeting

Seraikela, Oct 14: A review meeting concerning revenue and internal resources was conducted through video conferencing under the chairmanship of -Deputy Commissioner,Ravi Shankar Shukla on Saturday.

In attendance were Additional Deputy Commissioner Subodh Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation Adityapur, Sub-Divisional Officer for Seraikela and Chandil, District Land Acquisition Officer, District Transport Officer, District Mining Officer and other government officers.

During the meeting, the DC issued directives to take legal action against illegal mining, unlawful sale and storage of liquor and expedite pending tasks related to holding tax in the Seraikela Nagar Panchayat area.

Additionally, the DC assessed the progress of schemes under the zonal office’s jurisdiction. The meeting delved into the status of applications, including rejections, succession-mutation, demarcation, refinement portal, e-governance court matters, pending court cases, auction-related matters, caste and income certificates, and PM Kisan e-KYC.

He urged departments to proactively solve people’s issues at their respective departmental level, thereby minimizing the need for repeated office visits.

Furthermore, he launched an e-KYC campaign for 100 percent PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries and instructed officials to implement it effectively. Regular progress reviews for zonal officers, ATM, BTM, revenue employees, and regional officers were deemed essential, ensuring the efficient execution of initiatives.

Lastly, in relation to auction letters, instructions were issued to expedite progress and release pending honorarium to Manki Munda, Dakua, and traditional village heads. Compliance with departmental guidelines was strongly emphasized to complete pending work in a timely manner.
