Seraikela, Oct 12: Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla chaired a virtual review meeting with concerned officials to assess the progress of various development schemes in the district.
During the review meeting , the DC emphasized the need for timely completion of the schemes and urged officials to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries of government welfare programs receive their entitled benefits.
In a bid to enhance public convenience, he issued directives for the publication of a list of regional officials and employees in local newspapers. This initiative aims to streamline the resolution of issues related to drinking water and electricity, ensuring that complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
The meeting also delved into discussions about upcoming festivals. Following a review of festival preparations, the DC provided essential guidance to officials to facilitate cooperation among relevant stakeholders and ensure the peaceful conduct of the festivities.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Vimal Kumar, who was present at the meeting, addressed issues concerning festival preparations, illegal mining, illicit liquor sales, storage, and operational control. He instructed the concerned officers to collaborate effectively and take stringent actions in accordance with the law against individuals involved in illegal activities.
The meeting witnessed the participation of several key officials, including Sub-divisional Officer Chandil Ranjit Lohra, District Transport Officer, and District Panchayati Raj Officer Shankar Acharya Samad, Excise Superintendent Vimala Lakra, District Mining Officer Sunny Kumar, District Planning Officer Ravi Kumar, and various other relevant personnel.
