Seraikela: 70% absenteeism in Chief Minister’s Medha Scholarship Examination

Seraikela, June 30: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Ranchi organized the Chief Minister’s Medha Scholarship Examination-2024 in the district on Sunday, witnessing a 70% absenteeism rate among candidates.

District Education Officer Jitendra Kumar Sinha reported that 44 examination centers were prepared for 12,876 candidates, but only 3,818 appeared for the exam, with 9,058 candidates absent. Despite the high absenteeism, the examination was conducted peacefully and without any malpractice.

Block Resource Person Gautam Kumar monitored seven examination centers in the Saraikela block, where 305 out of 1,352 registered candidates attended the exam. Kumar confirmed that the examination process was smooth and free from any irregularities.
