Jaduguda, August 23: In a recent reshuffle at Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), several senior officials have been transferred. Rakesh Kumar has been appointed as the mines agent for the Narwa Uranium Project. He will now oversee the Jadugoda, Bhatin, and Baghjata uranium mines. Manoranjan Mahali, formerly the Narwa Pahad mines agent, has been assigned to manage these mines under the Jaduguda Group of Mines.
A welcoming ceremony for the new appointees was held at Narwa Pahad, where they were greeted with bouquets by senior officers, including Chief Medical Officer Bhattacharya and other key figures such as SN Mahato and Jai Prakash Jha. The transfers were announced by USIL Technical Director Manoj Kumar. Additionally, SK Sengupta, currently stationed in Turamdih, is expected to receive a significant role in the Central Personnel Department, though this has yet to be officially confirmed.
