Jamshedpur, July 5: A one day seminar on preventive measures to save life and limbs from lightning will be conducted at Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi on Saturday, July 6. The seminar is being organized under the joint aegis of Climate Resilient Observing Systems Promotion Council, Indian Meteorological Department, World Vision India, Government of India, Jharkhand Government, Red Cross Society and District Disaster Management Authority. This is as a part of the program Resilient India Campaign 2019 � 2021.
This seminar is based on a nationwide movement to spread awareness among people especially those who reside in lightning prone areas. This program was earlier launched in Jharkhand at Ranchi on June 11 earlier this year. The seminar at Jamshedpur on July 6 will be the first in the district.
