Jamshedpur, May 3: Karim City College (KCC) in Jamshedpur commemorated Labor Day with a seminar organized by the Hindi Department. Titled “Labor Life in Hindi Story,” the event was chaired by Dr. S.C. Gupta, Head of the Hindi Department, and Dr. Firoz Alam, Professor of Hindi Department. The seminar delved into the reality of labor life through various Hindi literary works, including stories by renowned authors. Both, teachers and students, actively participated, with notable contributions from students including Rahul Mandal, Pratibha Tripathi, Nisha Bhattacharya, and Khushbu Kumari. Dr. Gupta, in his presidential address, discussed works by Premchand and contemporary storytellers, highlighting the challenges and questions surrounding labor life. The event concluded with Pratibha Tripathi expressing gratitude to all present.
