Seminar on Emerging Opportunities in Jharkhand: Consul General of the US promises support

Jamshedpur: A seminar titled “Emerging Opportunities in Jharkhand in collaboration with USA” was jointly organised by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) and the United States of America. The seminar, held at a prominent city hotel, aimed to shed light on the burgeoning prospects for investment and economic growth in Jharkhand while fostering a stronger partnership between the two nations. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Melinda Pavek, Consul General of the US Consulate Kolkata, who served as the Chief Guest.

IACC, founded in 1968, stands as the paramount bilateral Chamber dedicated to fostering economic engagement between India and the United States. The East India Council of IACC, renowned for its vibrant and proactive approach, plays a pivotal role in facilitating trade, commerce, and the formulation of favorable business policies for enterprises seeking to establish a presence in the two thriving economies.

The seminar’s significance is accentuated by the recent upsurge in economic collaboration between the United States and India, propelled by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of Nakul Kamani as the President and with the dedicated efforts of Cdr Sanjeev Raman (Retired from the Indian Navy) and Dilip Goyal as Vice Chairman, the Jamshedpur Chapter aims to catalyze economic transformation and enhance the business ecosystem.
