Security guards deprived of minimum wage

Jamshedpur, Feb. 17: Group For Security management and the association on Thursday appeared before the Deputy Labour Commissioner (DLC) for the minimum wage issue.

For the first time the DLC accused the management and agreed that the security guards are not being paid the minimum wage.

This was made clear after the investigation and the management will be issued a letter on Saturday, February 18 in which the management will be told to provide the minimum wage to the security officers.

The Association expressed satisfaction after the DLC issues order. From the associations’ side President Ratan Singh along with craftsmen from various units including Tata Cummins, Tata Bluescope, TCS Sakchi, Adityapur Industrial Area, security officials from Sudha Dairy, ASL Hitech Chemicals, Pepsi, Flip, Giard, Hico Engineering.
