Jamshedpur, Jan 14: A security guard riding a bicycle was crushed by a car in Jubilee Park, Bistupur on Tuesday morning. The security guard was taken to the hospital for treatment but doctors declared him dead upon examination. After the incident occurred, the car fled the scene at high speed. The entire accident was captured on CCTV camera.
The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Raju Prasad who was a resident of Bagunnagar, Sidhgora. According to information he had left for duty on a bicycle at 5:30 in the morning. Prasad worked as a security guard at the Nature Park at CH Area in Bistupur.
The police have sent the body t for post-mortem. The police are trying to locate the car and its owner.
