Jamshedpur, Jan14: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized its annual family picnic at the Dhyan Foundation Gaushala in Chakulia. About 500 members, along with their families, attended the event and described the experience as akin to visiting a pilgrimage site.
Honorary General Secretary, Manav Kedia said that the visit to the Gaushala provided an extraordinary sense of joy and serenity. The Chamber planned to advocate for government registration of the site, recognizing its spiritual significance. The picnic, sponsored by the Dhyan Foundation, featured various games with winners receiving prizes.

SCCI honoured Dhyan Foundation representatives, including Director Dr. Shalini Mishra, Kaushik, and Rana, for their support in making the event successful. Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka emphasized the importance of such gatherings for member engagement and expressed gratitude to former President Rajkumar Agarwal for inspiring the selection of this venue.
During the visit, picnic participants witnessed the Gaushala’s selfless service to over 20,000 cows and participated in charitable activities, including feeding jaggery to the cows and making donations. Former MLA of Baharagora, Kunal Sarangi, also attended the get-together and praised the Chamber’s efforts in organizing events beyond business activities.
Former Presidents Murlidhar Kedia, Nirmal Kabra, and others commended the initiative, describing it as a blend of recreation and virtue. The event fostered camaraderie and showcased the Chamber’s commitment to holistic community engagement.
