Jamshedpur. Sep 1: Aditya Rana, a 40-year-old resident of Kumhar Pada in Sonari police station area, remains missing after jumping into the Subarnarekha River from Dobo Bridge on Saturday afternoon. Despite a 24-hour search operation, including efforts by local divers, authorities have not yet located Aditya.
Following the incident, Aditya’s father has requested the Sonari Police Station to involve the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) for an extensive search. Aditya had left two suicide notes, addressed to the SSP and Sonari police, stating his distress over the death of his mother and his dissatisfaction with life.
The notes expressed his final wish that his family should not face harassment following his death. Local residents reported seeing Aditya jump from the bridge, prompting immediate action from emergency services. The search operation is ongoing, and efforts are being intensified to locate him.
