Jamshedpur, Aug 16: SDSM School for Excellence celebrated 77th Independence Day with fervor and enthusiasm. Principal Moushumi Das hoisted the national flag and paid homage to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters, followed by motivational speech in which she made every one aware of the significance of the Indian Flag, Saffron color for Strength and Courage, White color for Peace and Truth and Green color for Fertility, Prosperity of the land and 24 spokes in the wheel stands for constant movement and progress. She emphasized on Har Ghar Tiranga and asked everyone to upload selfie with the national flag. Patriotic Song & Dance were presented by the students on this occasion.
