SDO visits Baharagora Block office, instructs geo-tagging projects

Ghatshila, July 20: Ghatshila SDO, Satyavir Rajak visited Baharagora Block Office and directed that ongoing schemes be completed at the earliest. He also directed that ponds being dug or renovated under Amrit Sarovar Yojna be completed as per schedule. In addition, Ghatshila SDO, Satyavir Rajak instructed that a tree plantation drive should be undertaken to plant saplings around pond banks. All ongoing schemes should be geo-tagged and completed as per timeframe.

The SDO said that flag hoisting should be organized on August 15 on the bank of the renovated pond. He reviewed work completed and underway under MGNREGA and other government schemes. Inspection of government food godowns were conducted in the course of which 1,928 quintals of rice, 3,677 quintals of wheat and 525 quintals of salt were found in consonance with stock register figures. Officials present during the review meeting and inspection conducted by Ghatshila SDO Satyavir Rajak included Circle Officer Jitray Murmu, Executive Magistrate Keshav Bharti, Block Supply Officer, Block Program Officer, Block Coordinator Panchayati Raj, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer among others.
