SDO seeks school support for better ranking at Swachh Survekshan 2021

Jamshedpur, Jan 28: A meeting chaired by Dhalbhum SDO Nitish Kumar Singh was held with principals of various private and state-owned schools on Swachh Survekshan 2021 at Rabindra Bhawan in Sakchi on Thursday.

The SDO urged participation of all citizens in the cleanliness drive to ensure that the city reached top spot in the pan-India swachh survekshan this year.  He also appealed to all the principals to motivate all students above the age of 18 years to involve their parents in the Swachh Survekshan 2021 drive by sending their feedbacks and voting which are essential part of the survey.

The SDO said that the survey for the Swachh Survekshan 2021 is currently underway in the country and as per the new guidelines for the survey 600 marks are allotted for citizen’s feedback which has to be given by residents before March 31, 2021. Residents can cast their votes on cleanliness aspects of their city through the app SS2021voteforyourcity which can be downloaded from google playstore. They can also give feedbacks through Swachh Survekshan 2021 web portal, Swachhta App, toll free number 1969 and MyGov app.

Some of the questions which will be asked in the feedbacks include if the respondents are aware that their city is part of the Swachh Survekshan 2021, if they are aware about ranking of their civic bodies in the 2020 survey, how much marks they will give on cleanliness to their civic body, how much marks they will give to cleanliness in business and public places in their civic body, how much marks they would give to cleanliness in public urinals and lavatories etc.

During the meeting East Singhbhhum DRCHO Dr B N Usha urged the school principals for successful conduct of national deworming campaign and also in the Pulse Polio campaign scheduled between January 31 and February 2, 2021.
