Jamshedpur, March 13: ADC Sunil Kumar and SDO Prem Ranjan assigned the job of conducting spot verification on various Tata sub lease plots visited several buildings and upcoming shopping centers in Sakchi on Friday.
East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Amitabh Kaushal has ordered the three member sub-committee to complete the spot verification within three days and submit a report.
The team visited Super Centre, near Diamond on Main Road, Sakchi and inquired about the registration of the three story building which was originally allotted for parking purpose. The shooing centre boasts in number of branded clothing shops, Electronic Shops and International food chains.
The three member sub-committee comprising of East Singhbhum additional deputy commissioner Sunil Kumar, Dhalbhum SDO Prem Ranjan and Jamshedpur circle officer Prabhat Bhusan will conduct spot verification of the entire 59 plot sub leased by Tata Steel and see if the plots were being used for a purpose other than what was originally documented in the lease agreement. The next meeting on the sub lease issue is schedule for March 14 at Collectorate office.
It may be noted that the first phase of inquiry done by the special committee headed by Kolhan Commissioner Kumar Arun saw several flaws in the sub lease plots.
During the inquiry they found out that of the 59 plots allotted 6 sub lease holders have done a registered agreement with Tata Steel, 14 had agreement but had not made their registration and the remaining 39 sub lease holders had not done the agreement also.
