Jamshedpur, March 21: Journalists all over the state on Monday protested against the murder attempt on journalist Sushil Kumar Chourasia of Daily Awaz newspaper at Rajgan in Dhanbad district late on Sunday night.
Several scribes under the banner of Jharkhand Journalists� Association, Jamshedpur unit, and headed by Ajay Mahato submitted a memorandum to DC demanding arrest of the culprits and also to provide safety to the journalists in the district and the state.
Journalists in Seraikela, Giridih, Koderma, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad and Latehar protested against the attack.
Jharkhand DGP has already ordered early arrest of the culprit.
